Me, a college senior playing sims 4 university. Let’s see how realistic it is.I’ll be sharing my sims progress from her first semester to last. In order to graduate you have to complete 12 classes. The first part of these blogs is my sims first semester.
Little Backstory: This is my sim, Michaela Reaves. she is fourth-gen. She comes from money and she is a one-star celebrity. Her mother was a famous internet personality and her grandmother was a famous global actress. Her father died when she was a kid. she is the first in the family to go to university. (Her mother died while she was at university so, now she is an orphan).
My sim got accepted to both universities with a sol de valley & merit scholarship.
I decided I wanted her to go to Foxbury institute because to me it seems like a better university. She was also accepted with distinguished degrees. I decided to let her major in psychology because I want her to eventually be a college professor.
My sim dorm.
So the first semester I decided to enroll in four classes because that’s what I normally do in real life. But, sis this game had me stressed. I really tried to get my sim to get all A’s but I wasn’t prepared for the struggle. Sis, had two final exams, one presentation, and a term paper all due. I also had her apart of the soccer team but I dropped that the second day. (She had too much on her plate) and then her whole family dies. Sis was going through it.
I honestly don’t know how she got a full-ride lol.
What you don’t realize while you’re playing the game is that the days fly by. And one semester is only 5 sims days (30mins-1hour). So you kinda have to do all your work soon as you get to college which I didn’t. I threw a keg party lol.
I do like everything about having roommates. I think this is the most realistic part. My sims roommates were having parties every day. Not cleaning up, but they always had food so I never really had to go to commons for food. Also, when you go to commons for you don’t have to pay. Also, I had seen on some reviews that if something breaks in the dorm you have to pay for it. But, if you call a repairman they come and fix your sims broken items for free. In actuality, all you have to pay for is tuition and housing. (And maybe Sports games)
I also like how the cafe is not 24/7 it makes it more realistic.
She is also part of The Brainiacs.
I really like the bike feature too.
My sim is now on her second semester and she is only taking three classes. I’m going to try to find her a job because right now she only has a thousand dollars. (Below is her grades from the first semester)
Let’s see how she do this semester. We’re going for all A’s.
SN: I DO THINK THE GAME IS WORTH IT. and this is defintely the best pack of all the sims packs. It is very realistic to American universities too.
